Dear friends.....

Dear friends,

Gold! Diamonds! Platinum! Friends!
To all my dear friends who have been a part of my life and made it so special for me, thank you very much and a happy friendship day.

Cute little devils they were,
innocent smiles and unadulterated hearts.
School- just another playground it was!
Friends- angels they were!
Crying and cribbing for things,
It was back then that they had wings.
To talk, to walk, to read, to write,
guided we were like a flying kite.
Together we sat and learned,
together we played and time we burned.

we grew old, we grew bold.
we were about to hit our teens,
It was then, that we always wanted jeans.
Playing with friends was never more fun,
a thick cloud or a bright red sun,
it never did matter,
for we always had a constant chatter.
studies were now an important part of life,
about which, with parents we always had a Strife.

Somethings were bound to happen and they did,
parents were proud -- "He is my kid!"
Successful they called us and so we felt,
life's turn it was and an easy hand it dealt.
We grew older and with us our responsibilities,
they called us the future of the country,
surely they were as confused as we were.

Days went by and years rolled on,
memories you'll gave me to trod upon.
Through times happy and times rough,
you'll have been there for me and hence it wasn't tough.
You make me feel complete, My Friend!
to this gratitude in my heart, there's no end.

HAPPY FRIENDSHIP DAY!!!

Who are you?....

It took me a lot of time to put this one together. It always happened in bits and pieces. There was never a connection in these pieces at least until today. it was like a jig-saw, this dream! and it took me a lot of time to bring everything into place.

I now feel, it was always there somewhere in the back of my head, somewhere! Might be this train journey( 26th july 2010) was the best thing that could have happened to me this summer. All summer this dream happened to me again and again and again. I would wake up and wonder why I don't remember the whole dream. Sometimes i just remember seeing a dark outline of you from the dimly lit balcony. Sometimes i just remember you saying," wait! i am coming." though that was never meant for me. I remember you running out of the door pulling your hair together. Sometimes I just remember myself saying," Oh my God!". It had always happened to me in bits and pieces, very short! Now as this dream falls totally into its place....

you come running out of the door pulling your hair together, I stand there waiting to see who it is. As you come closer to me, I can now see you clearly,"Oh my God!". Oval face, dusky, sparkling eyes and under the moonlight you seem to me like a princess. You come to me and say," Hey, Hi! have i kept you waiting?", but there are only three words that come out of my mouth," Who are YOU?"

Paradise Ride.

In this age of information, where modes of transport are getting faster day in and day out, there is something peculiar about Patna's transport system.People in general, prefer to reach there destination faster. People here seem to be unorthodox, at least when it comes to small distance travel within the city.Rickshaw is one of the most preferred modes of transport here. The rickshaws are very slow when compared to motored transport. They are neither comfortable nor cheap when compared to the motor transport, yet people love to ride home in the three wheeled homo-sapien driven vehicle. The motor transport damaged this kind of transport in many a metro city in INDIA but the people of Patna love this as much as the Italians love the Ferrari.

What's so special about this INDIAN Ferrari? You must take a ride to feel it. The clik-clak sound of the half-worn pedals, ting! The sound of metal against metal when you apply the brakes, the tring-tring sound of the bell( resembles the old telephone ring) give you an all together a new feeling. This indeed seems pleasing after the daily noisy clumsy motor transport you take to your destinations. The idea of a ride during the evening with your partners can also make it romantic; the wind ruffling through your hair, the sound of the wind through your ear and a pleasant talk would just spice up your perfect evening. Though this mode of transport is a little costly compared to the orthodox means, but once a while it is duly affordable. The people of Patna have surely realized there is a small paradise right outside their gates waiting for them, so just go and get the ride of your life.

why did he lose her...??

P.S. thanks to Ms. A for the situation...

Life till then was just a routine,
excitement unheard of and unseen.
He was about to hit nineteen,
he was thin and lean.

Life till then was just a routine,
excitement unheard of and unseen.
She too, was about to hit nineteen,
she was beautiful and loved green.

He looked at her,
'it' happened to him.
She looked at him.
'it' happened to her.

They called 'it' love,
none knew how.
They called 'it' love,
everyone said wow.

time flew by,
'it' did blossom.
time flew by,
'it' was awesome.

------------------------------------

Finally they were there,
lightning did strike.
Even before they were aware,
something happened that they dint like.

the 'flower' that blossomed,
the 'flower' that bloomed,
the 'flower' that was once bright,
lost all its might.

the 'flower' withered,
went down to the ground.
the 'flower' they called love,
took one last bow.

----------------------------------

they were happy,
they were joyous,
they were excited,
that they had one another.

what happened?
what happened?
where was the love that once existed?
where was the charm that was created?

what happened?
what happened?
why was she deserted?
why was her heart vacated?

what happened?
what happened?
where did he disappear?
would he ever come back here?

was this destiny?
do they call it fate?
what did happen,
that he had to abandon his mate?

An angel she was,
'Princess' he called her,
what happened to him?
why did he lose her?
